How to Become an Engineering Professor
Becoming an Engineering Professor is one of the best jobs for those with a PhD in a technical subject. The median salary for an Engineering Professor is $81,700. As an undergrad in mechanical engineering, I would love to teach there! But, I’m not sure how to find a job that pays as well as my PhD. I’m sure it will be challenging, but I’m excited to see what I can do.

The award was presented to an engineering professor who has made an impact on the engineering community. For the past four years, I have been an Associate Professor at the University of Arizona. I enjoy teaching primarily because of the personal connections I’ve made over the years. And, because I work in the field every day, I feel I can relate to students on a personal level.
When I teach undergraduate courses, I enjoy meeting and working with students. I also enjoy teaching students. I love meeting new people, and I love being able to teach my students about the world’s most pressing problems. And, I love teaching students about the world’s greatest challenges. In fact, I’m glad that I have the chance to share my passion for engineering with others! And I’m very proud of my engineering career! It’s a great way to help students become better engineers.
